**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide care and supervision to children in the employer’s home.
- Assist with daily personal care of children (bathing, dressing, hygiene).
- Plan, prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to children (laundry, cleaning play areas, tidying).
- Transport children to school, activities and appointments as required.
- Maintain a daily log of children’s activities, meals and sleep/rest patterns.
- Communicate regularly with the employer about children’s routines, milestones and needs.
- Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures in the home.

**Qualifications**
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care, dementia care, and working with people with disabilities is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to client needs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license is a plus for transportation needs
- Certification in medication administration or caregiving training is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality care

Pay: $30,000.00-$40,846.36 per year
