Live-in Caregiver

Responsibilities:

- Provide in-home care to elderly or disabled individuals
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and experience with dementia care is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with mobility if needed
- Familiarity with home care practices and patient care techniques
- Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by seniors or individuals with disabilities
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when providing care

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or client needs
- Empathy and understanding for the unique needs of each client

Please note that this position may require occasional weekend or evening availability.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
