Carlsberg Canada recently purchased Waterloo Brewing Ltd. so Carlsberg Canada includes the production, distribution and commercialization of Carlsberg and Waterloo products as well as various co-manufacturing partnerships.
**Role Summary**:
The Line Leader will oversees safe operations in the Brewing and Packaging (B&P) area.
Responsible for people development and resource management, the role actively contributes to the B&P management team, playing a crucial role in strategy development. Using Carlsberg
Excellence Methodologies, they drive continuous improvement in B&P Key Performance
Indicators, implement standard methods, and oversee the complete people cycle, including recruitment, training, development, recognition, and discipline.
**Accountabilities**:
- Lead and model exemplary behavior within the area, ensuring compliance with HSE, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Manage people resources in alignment with demand plans.
- Recognize and reward outstanding performance, enforce team discipline, and conduct performance reviews to foster teamwork and collaboration.
- Engage contribute to the development and execution of B&P strategy and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with B&P (Brewing and Packaging) standards through the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process confirmation, and training.
- Contribute to daily/weekly Brewing and Packaging Plans, Maintenance Plans, lead investigations into quality and safety non-compliances, and resolve escalated issues.
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education preferably in food engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience within a production/manufacturing environment with 2 years of experience managing a team.
- Experience managing people and plant delivering performance improvements through Lean TPM methodology.
- Consumer Packaged Goods Experience preferably within Food and Beverage industry.
- Results driven, self-starter with an innovative mindset.
- Demonstrated planning, and time management skills.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
