**Job description**

**Overview**:
Inland Industrial Supply is an industrial supply distributor for a variety of safety, industrial supplies and tools to the industrial construction and plant maintenance market. Our Edmonton Location is searching for an energetic individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate. The role is to work alongside the team to fill customer orders as well as stock and warehouse maintenance.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Follow the proper order picking and packing procedures
- Ensure orders are picked accurately and completely
- Build and wrap skids or pallets before loading on to trucks
- Secures packages to make sure no items are damaged in shipping to customer
- Keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady
- Follow the daily forklift preventive maintenance procedures, and ensure safe operation of Material Handling Equipment at all times
- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
- Assist in other warehouse functions as required

**Qualifications and Minimum Requirements**:

- Applicants must be willing to work onsite in Edmonton, Alberta
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a Distribution Centre or Warehouse environment (an asset)
- Experience with safe operation of a forklift is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and well organized
