Delivery Driver

**About the Position** - You are the Schelter's Ambassador responsible for delivering parcels and packages to our business accounts located throughout Waterloo and Wellington County.
- A Part Time Flex Positition - days only Monday to Friday position with steady but flexable hours. Hours can flex based on your availability matched to our work requirements - Shift length of 4-5 hours minimum, days only Monday to Friday...most shifts will start at 10 AM. It will not be unusual to reach 20 hours of work in a week...if you are available and wanting the shifts. Contract is 1 year in length BUT strong potential for renewal at end of period for successful performance.
- A workout without the gym membership - ideal for active person who enjoys being physically busy with required regular lifting of up to 70 lbs. Must move with a sense of purpose and urgency throughout work day.
- Loading and unloading your truck with boxed deliveries of office supply orders, installing office furniture, assisting a customer with a return, routing your deliveries using PC software and GPS and battling traffic are all part of a busy day. You are well organized, detail oriented and determined.
- A chance to Learn and Earn - ongoing training and support helps new team members to add skills including Furniture Building and Installation - training is provided to assist you in developing the technical skills required to become a pro.
- More than deliveries - daily routed deliveries of office products are just the beginning. Supplier pick-ups, warehouse/logistics support as well as facilities maintenance are also part of the regular work day providing lots of work day variety.
- Previous experience in a customer service position is a bonus. Comfortable with basic electric hand tools including power drills. Experience as a courier/delivery driver or warehouse shipping/receiving position also considered an asset. 3 + years experience required IF driving our large strait truck ( not a requirement but a big asset if you have this experience )
