**Apprentice Plumber**

**Key Information**:

- ** Must be able to **Assist journeyman/journeywoman plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.**:

- ** Must be able **assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures.**:

- ** Hours: Project dependent; Monday - Friday. Minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime necessary during the busy season (April-October)**:

- ** Hourly rate is dependent on experience.**:

- **Health benefits and vacation pay offered.**
- ** Must be able to **assist journeyman/journeywoman plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.**:

- ** Must be able **assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures.**:

- ** Must be willing to work out of town.**:

- Communicating with the Foreperson, Operators, and Crew members.

**Experience and Certification Requirements**:

- ** 2nd or 3rd year Plumbing Apprenticeship is required.**:

- ** Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in plumbing and construction**:

- ** Basic mechanical knowledge.**:

- Must be able to read and understand drawings.
- CSTS-09 or 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground disturbance 201, fall protection required.
- ** A successful pre-access drug and Alcohol test may be required depending on the project.**:

- ** A reliable means of transportation is required.**:

- Proficient English language skills required.

**Education**: 2nd or 3rd year Plumbing Apprenticeship is required.
