Job Location: Northern Alberta

Opportunity Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive, hands-on technical support within the plumbing trade. Key duties include disconnecting and removing plumbing connections, cutting and stripping water, sewer, and gas piping, as well as performing other plumbing-related tasks as required. The Apprentice Plumber/Gasfitter will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing, heating, and gas systems and associated equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Qualifications:

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Must have OSSA BSO or CSO training certificates.
  • Valid OSSA accredited Elevated Work Platform, Confined Space and Fall Protection
  • 3rd Year Apprentice Certificate
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License and Abstract with a clean drivers abstract.
  • A minimum of 3 years related work experience.
  • Experience in maintenance work in the Fort McMurray oil sands is considered an asset
  • The successful candidate will be safety conscious, self-motivated, reliable, flexible and proactive with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated a history of safe work practices
