**Duties**:
As a Food Service Helper, some duties may include:

- Assisting in the preparation of food, independently or as part of a team;
- operating cash registers/Point of Sale Terminals to collect meal charges from clients;
- assisting in the receiving, unloading, and storage of food items;
- cleaning, and maintaining food service facilities.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

ASSET OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION

AOC1. Possession of a valid recognized food safety certificate (based on the location of the position being staffed).

ASSET EXPERIENCE

AEX1. Experience working in a food service environment.
AEX2. Experience in food preparation, storage, sanitation or food safety practices.
AEX3. Experience operating a Point of Sale Terminal (POST) or performing cashier duties.
AEX4. Experience in supervision.

Willing and able to work overtime on short notice.
Willing and able to do shift work, including weekends and holidays.

**Conditions of employment**:
Reliability Status security clearance
- Willing and able to lift, push, pull and carry 20 kilograms.
