Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment.

**Responsibilities**

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
  • Assist customers in choosing menu items, making recommendations, and taking orders
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment
  • Handle cash transactions using a POS system and maintain an accurate cash drawer
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning equipment and utensils
  • Uphold food safety standards and ensure quality control of all beverages served
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction

**Experience**

  • Previous experience in food handling, cash handling, and cashiering
  • Familiarity with POS systems for order processing
  • Proficiency in basic math for measuring ingredients and handling transactions
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and beverage recipes
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of food safety practices to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
