**Supervision**:

- Planifier le travail et distribuer les tâches aux employés
- Remplir et approuver les feuilles de temps du service de paie
- S’assurer de l’utilisation des équipements de protections individuelles (ÉPI) et pratiquer la politique de tolérance zéro envers les imprudences et le travail non sécuritaires.
- Travailler en collaboration avec les ressources humaines afin de répondre aux demandes des employés.

**Gestion de rendement**
- Signaler les résultats quotidiens du service lors des réunions.
- Identifier les mesures correctrices appropriées et les mettre en œuvre.
- Obtenir auprès des intervenants les priorités et les besoins de l’usine.
- Donner des commentaires pertinents aux employés.
- Participer aux processus d’amélioration continus et déceler les occasions.
- Suivre la formation mensuelle sur la santé et la sécurité au travail.
- Effectuer des vérifications sur la santé et la sécurité au travail.

**Administration**
- Produire ou remplir les formulaires administratifs nécessaires : Ressources humaines, gestion de la qualité, etc.
- Assurer le suivi en effectuant les relances appropriées par téléphone et par courriel.
- Signaler les problèmes de qualité au service de la qualité.

**Qualifications**:
**Expérience, formation et compétences**
- Études collégial un minimum.
- Trois à cinq années d’expérience en milieu de production manufacturière à valeur ajoutée.
- Une expérience de 3 à 5 ans en tant que superviseur de production est requise.
- Aptitude à résoudre des problèmes et à prendre des décisions.
- Compétence en matière de communication.
- Compétences de travail avec le système SAP ou un système similaire et un atout.
- Doit posséder des compétences de haut niveau avec la suite MS Office.

Carpenter Canada Co. has an immediate opening for a **Production Manager** on Evening Shift at our Montreal (**Anjou**) manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for safe, accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders while adhering to the Company’s guiding principles and value of order.

**Responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
**Supervision**:

- Plan work and distribute tasks to employees
- Complete and approve payroll time-sheets
- Ensure the use of PPE and zero tolerance for at-risk behaviour and unsafe work.
- Collaborate with HR to address employee inquiries

**Performance management**
- Report daily department results at daily meetings.
- Identify appropriate corrective actions and implement corrective actions.
- Find out from stakeholders about the priorities and needs in the plant.
- Give appropriate feedback to employees.
- Participate in the continuous improvement process and recognize opportunities.
- Complete the monthly occupational health and safety training.
- Perform health and safety inspections.

**Administration**
- Produce or complete the necessary administrative forms: HR, quality management, etc.
- Report quality issues to the quality department.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience / education / skills**
- Post-secondary education.
- 3 - 5 years of production experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
- 3 - 5 years of production supervisor experience is required.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrated communication skills.
- Experience working with SAP or similar systems is an asset.
- Must possess high-level proficiency with MS Office Suite.
