**Responsibilities**:

- The Superintendent reports to the Package Manager and is responsible to:

- Develop weekly work plans, including craft labor and resource allocations, safety and
- quality requirements pertaining to the work and provide analysis of schedule
- performance and productivity- Daily supervision and coordination of the direct-hire workers and subtrades/subcontractors
- Develop non-manual and craft staffing plans which support the schedule
- Ensure that all direct hire work, including supporting work (or subcontracted), is

performed in accordance with the project work procedures and is performed safely.- Implement the Environmental, Safety and Health (ES&H) plan
- Establish and ensure compliance with project procedures necessary to perform

construction in accordance with project technical requirements.- Administer project work rules. Ensure craft and supervision are available and trained in

order to be able to safely perform job tasks.- Work with the Package Manager to ensure proper jurisdiction on craft assignments
- Monitor schedule, manpower needs and budgets through weekly meetings
- Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness of the project.
- Ensure adequate equipment and tooling is on site to perform all work tasks in an

effective manner- Manage construction equipment utilization and maintenance.
- Manage planning of temporary works.
- Overall responsibility for craft safety, quality and productivity
- Ensure adequate construction utilities and facilities are available to support work.
- Generate Field Material Requisitions (FMRs) for consumables, tools and other nonpermanent plant material and equipment.
- Coordinate subcontract activities.
- Coordinate with the Construction Coordinators
- Complete punch list/ deficiency items
- Provide resolution to project issues as they arise and communicate project issues in a

timely manner to Package Manager (i.e., work scheduling conflicts, work interference,
- errors / discrepancies / omissions in Consultant’s design drawings, project deficiencies
- list, poor workmanship quality, etc.).- Coordinate and direct independent testing and inspections as required.

Superintendent- Document daily job report and keep Package Manager informed of project status.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Package Manager
