**Security Supervisor**:

**Key Performance Factors**:
As a Supervisor you will be responsible for oversight of HKS guard personnel, engage in operational service and delivery. The Supervisors responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Maintain positive interactions with clients to support continuous Sales.
- When on call, 24hr availability is a must.
- Respond to our client’s requests with a quick, flexible, and operational approach that is based on sound strategy and that includes the client in the operational experience.
- Understand the principles of proper leadership, while fostering a positive non-toxic work environment.
- Be a Team Leader and provide appropriate coaching and mentoring to junior staff.
- Fostering kind delivery method.
- Maintain an individual case load and achieve sustainable billable time.
- Effective delegation skills
- Knowledge of using the Sandwich method. IE: Feedback when given well, should not alienate the receiver of the feedback, but should motivate them to perform better.”
- Take responsibility for the final product that our company delivers to the client.
- Know all Divisional policy and procedures, and ensure the staff adheres to them as is necessary during the execution of assignments.
- Service client requirements
- Operational project delivery for large projects and industrial disputes
- Development and expansion of business opportunities including:

- Keeping employees informed as to the company/department plans and progress, maintains appropriate communications within area of responsibility.
- Any other reasonable duty expected by senior management.
- Working in close liaison with managers representing different service lines

**Requirements/**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma preferential or equivalent, life experience, degree in related field, accompanied with security guard or investigation training and work experience. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or work visa with at least 6 months to run.
- Basic security guard training course.
- Fluent written and spoken English, second language a benefit.

**Professional/Technical Certification or Licenses**
- Possess a valid Security Guard License
- First Aid, WHMIS, H2S Alive and CPR certification is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

**Responsibilities**:
This role will include the supervision of the security team. The Security Supervisor will be responsible for providing support and supervision of people and operations and will have a regular shift pattern including night duty and weekends.

**Job Knowledge or Work Experience**:

- 5+ years’ experience in a Security Management role.
- Excellent listening, reading and administration skills, effective communicator (verbal and written English, second languages a benefit), well organized and detail oriented.
- Fit and healthy to be able to walk unaided while on site, stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to motivate, inspire and lead a team.
- An analytical thinker with advanced problem-solving skills. Ability to approach a problem.
- Willing to travel between sites. and out of town
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
