**Minimum qualifications**:

- 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales, or vendor operations.
- Experience in vendor or extended workforce management.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Project Management Institute or Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
- Experience managing multiple complex sales within an outsourced vendor environment.
- Experience working on a global team.
- Experience in managing multiple complex vendor operations, implementing governance, and a pay for performance model.
- Developed analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills.

**About the job**:
The Google Cloud VMO has responsibility for all extended workforce needs across Google Cloud, including but not limited to extended workforce strategy, vendor partner selection, governance, operations, and performance management. We partner deeply with all Cloud teams in Support, Learning, Sales, and Developing to set up new vendor engagements and improve existing ones.

As the Sales Vendor Manager, you will manage vendor operations that provide critical support to the Sales organization. You will help shape and execute a scalable and customer-centric vendor strategy, own one or more vendor relationships, and oversee vendor delivery. In this role, you will build outcome based operating and commercial models that ensure our vendors are delivering excellent quality of service. You will also partner with business leaders from Sales operations to add value to their business objectives and deliver on vendor requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with business teams across Cloud and with cross-functional teams like Procurement, Extended Workforce Solutions and Legal to drive standardized, scalable, and repeatable processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be responsible for vendor relationships and insights of the vendor operation, partnering with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure program level metrics are met.
- Maintain monthly and quarterly business reviews, ensuring governance is followed on operational items such as hiring, training, productivity, attrition. Work proactively with vendors to identify and put improvement plans in place.
- Source new vendors or expand scope of service with current vendors and implement performance based agreements for our partners.
- Manage expenses for the different teams, forecasting of spend, capacity planning, managing overall partner productivity, and delivering yearly plans on activities to drive improvement on rep productivity.
- Partner with the strategy enablement team and be accountable for providing end-to-end support of onboarding activities. Act as primary point of contact for related administrative tasks (contract agreements, purchase order management, etc.).
