**_ Newcomer Youth Employment Worker_**

**_ (Full-time contract until November 30, 2025)_**
- Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS) is a settlement agency providing a wide range of services to immigrants and refugees regardless of race, religion or status._
- We are searching for a Newcomer Youth Employment Worker who work closely with newcomer youth (16-24 yrs.) to conduct training and career exploration for youth_._

What you will be doing:_**
- _ Design, develop, and facilitate youth career exploration curriculum and training for newcomer youth, including strength discovery, soft/communication skills, employment
- and job search-related topics._
- _ Develop promotional materials and execute outreach plans to promote the program and recruit participants as required._
- _ Establish and facilitate a Youth Advisory Committee to provide input_
- _ Deliver weekly engaging group and one-on-one activities related to youth career exploration._
- _ Facilitate appropriate internal and external referrals and access to services in the community as needed_
- _ Participate in the development of a stakeholder engagement strategy to support and enhance project activities, including partnership building and maintenance_
- _ Maintain and update all client information in the OCMS database_
- _ Develop and implement program evaluation activities, incl. pre
- and post-session feed_
- _Compile evaluation findings and produce program implementation and recommendations guide_
- _ Prepare and submit accurate and timely statistical, financial and progress reports as required._
- _ Ensure various project activities are delivered on time and within scope._

What are we looking for?_**
- _ Post-secondary education in the Social Sciences, Social Work, Employment counselling, Youth and Child Development, psychology or equivalent combination of education and experience._
- _ 1-2 years’ experience in related human services work or equivalent, preferably in the Youth employment sector_
- _ Knowledge, understanding and sensitivity to issues affecting immigrant and refugee communities_
- _ Knowledge of newcomer youth and community resources/services in GTA._
- _ Knowledge of social justice issues, antiracism-, anti-discrimination and anti-oppression._
- _ Must be able to travel to other CCS locations and partner agencies_
- _ Fluency in Pashto, Spanish, Bengali, and/or French is considered an asset_

Compensation: _**_$29.09 - $32.37 per hour_**_ _**_based on experience_

**_ Location:_**_ Scarborough, ON_

**_ Hours:_**_ _35 hrs/week; must be available to work weekend shift, occasional evenings and overtime as required_
