We require the talent of a
**Data**
**Analyst (Intermediate) **to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing business leaders with timely, relevant financial and operational information while actively supporting the company’s IT systems. This key position will utilize and develop the tools necessary to measure performance, analyse gaps, and understand business information requirements and models.
- Note, the position is required to support in office hours, located in Brantford, Ontario.

**How you will make contributions that matter**:
Using Power BI and data warehouse cubes you will:

- Work closely with management to create, distribute, and analyze operational and financial reports and metrics through queries, reports, and detailed analysis.
- Perform a lead role in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new reports and data cubes.
- Provide input on BI projects (requirements specification with special focus on the use of data as well as data quality)
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues.
- Actively participate in operational study by providing intelligence, analysis, and recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with the Finance and Operations teams to validate data and determine process improvements to resolve current challenges and future needs

**You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications**:

- Solid business acumen with a post-secondary degree/diploma in field of Business Administration, Computer Science or Information Technology.
- 5 years of related experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry and working with Microsoft BI.
- Great insight into the relevant BI solutions with qualifications related to Microsoft & Power BI at super user level.
- Ability to interpret end user needs and convert them into comprehensive design specifications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented and the ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team.
