Jewellery Sales/buyer at Appraisal/purchasing Events

Harrington's Auctioneers & Appraisers is hiring a sales person / Buyer for our travelling appraisal/purchasing events. In this role, you can expect to travel coast to coast in team of 2-3. You will be evaluating and purchasing items such as: Estate Jewellery, Watches, Numismatics, certain antique objects, and collectibles. Prior knowledge and experience in Jewellery would be greatly beneficial. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an established company that truly strives to create the best employee experience.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience (retail, tradeshows)
- Experience with Jewellery, gemology, or numismatics is preferred.
- You are a great people person and have experience in retail negotiations.
- Your lifestyle allows extensive travel. 2 weeks at a time out of province every 4-6 weeks.
- You have a valid drivers license Benefits:
- $55,000 salary after 90 day probation period, and a generous bonus structure. Average total per year after bonuses is $85,000-$100,000
- 3 weeks paid vacation per year.
- Travel expenses such as hotels, car are included. Food allowance is also provided. Full Time hours: 40 per week
