We’re a BC-based consulting and project management firm specializing in helping entrepreneurs establish new businesses, with a strong focus on the daycare industry. We also manage multiple startups, guiding them through market entry, licensing, and growth strategies.

Our mission is to simplify the path for new business owners by offering hands-on support — from market research and licensing to project execution and marketing. As our portfolio grows, we’re looking for a versatile professional to join our team.

**The Role**

We’re hiring a **Project & Business Development Coordinator** who can take ownership of moving projects forward, ensuring licensing, third-party coordination, and operational tasks are completed on time. This person will also support our sales and marketing activities by following up with prospects, helping organize campaigns, and contributing to market research and business plans.

This is not a passive office role. We need someone who is **proactive, organized, and confident picking up the phone**, tracking down missing pieces, and making sure deadlines are met.

**What You’ll Be DoingProject Coordination**
- Manage multiple client projects at once, keeping track of tasks, milestones, and outstanding items.
- Follow up with lawyers, accountants, contractors, licensing officers, and other third parties to gather documents, get updates, and solve problems.
- Help draft client reports, progress summaries, and simple presentations.

**Market & Business Development**
- Conduct competitor and market research to gather real data for feasibility studies and business plans.
- Support the creation of business plans and investor packages with data, charts, and narrative input.

**Sales & Marketing Support**
- Coordinate with our marketing staff on small campaigns (e.g., track inquiries from social media ads, prepare basic CRM updates).
- Maintain organized client files and CRM systems.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burnaby, BC V5C 6P3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
