Norellco Contractors is an Edmonton-based company servicing heavy construction from small to large projects. Our main projects consist of roadbuilding, grading, and water and sewer installations.

**Job Profile**:

- Perform preventive maintenance servicing, oil and filter changes as per manufacturer specifications.
- Perform all maintenance interval oil sampling and complete the required documentation.
- Provide fuel and lubrication, oil and other required fluid services on mobile equipment using a field service truck and/or in a shop environment.
- Perform minor repairs on equipment and vehicles.
- Clean equipment and perform equipment inspections for preventative maintenance.
- Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.
- Maintain daily logs and service records.
- Assist mechanics with equipment repairs as required.
- Must ensure an understanding of, and comply with the company’s Health and Safety program, including safe work practices and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Preferred Qualifications & Skills**:

- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic
- 2-3 years of experience working as a fuel/lube service person, or similar mechanical role preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with Heavy Equipment maintenance
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Analysis and problem solving skills.
- Periodic extended work hours may be required.

**Requirements**:

- Valid and clean Driver’s License - Class 3 or 5 w/Air Brakes
- Use of personal protective equipment is required.
- Travel as required.
- Overtime as required.
- Must comply with all company policies.
- Work environment is mainly outdoors, and in all weather conditions.

**Salary**: $27.00-$34.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Nisku, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- field service person: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- and clean Driver's License with Air Brakes Endorsement (Q) (preferred)
