The Air Terminal Project Coordinator is responsible for inspecting and reporting during all phases of the construction process for buildings on HIAA property including, but not limited to structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical, security, building envelope, and project safety. The Air Terminal Project Coordinator ensures that all contract documents represented by drawings and specifications are properly executed by the contractors.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Architectural / Engineering Technologist or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in the building construction industry.
- Extensive experience as a site inspector in the construction of commercial and institutional buildings including: structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, security, and building envelope.
- Experience in commercial tenant fit-up construction
- Extensive technical understanding of construction practices and procedures
- Understanding of federal and provincial safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Excellent organization and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of construction management information systems.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
- Demonstrated ability to operate in stressful situations
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and follow-up
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan and organize work
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strategic working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong computer skills and experience with MS Office and Outlook
