Sales & Marketing Agent (U.s. Location)

**Summary**
The Marketing and Sales Agent (US) is in charge of client outreach and maintaining
strong relationships with all Norgen clients. They are also responsible for acquiring new
clients, ensuring satisfaction of, and advocating for current clients. They will effectively
communicate client’s needs to Norgen's team and inform the clients of the results.
**Reports to**:Senior Sales and Marketing Manager
**Responsibilities, Duties & Expectations**
- Act as an ambassador between customer and the Norgen team to ensure client
satisfaction from the start to finish of projects.
- Prospect potential customers in CLIA Labs, Biological / Pharmaceutical organizations,
and Academic institutions.
- Maintain and continue to build relationships with clients after project completion.
- Develop quotes, contracts, invoices and reports for each client’s project.
- Coordinate with the Shipping department regarding incoming and outgoing shipments of client’s samples.
- Actively prospect bids and tenders for new government client and contract opportunities.
Working Conditions: Office environment, primarily desk work
**Work Location: Buffalo, New York (In-person)**

**Qualifications and Skills**
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Strong Science knowledge and understanding of R&D
- Open ERP (CSM software)
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Excellent organization skills
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize
- Dynamic, positive and open-minded mindset with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Education: Undergraduate degree in life science field (Molecular Biology, Biotechnology,
Biochemistry, Genetics, etc.) is required for this role.
Experience: 1-2 years of life science sales experience an asset.
**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Biology/Life Sciences is required for this role.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
