Bottle Sorters: Whistler

Regional Recycling is a local family run business that would love to have your family become a part of ours. We are a high-volume Recycling Facility carrying out a goal of Zero Waste and have 9 locations that span across the Lower Mainland, Sea to Sky and Vancouver Island.

Currently, we are looking for:

- **4 Full-time Bottle-Sorters (Sun-Wed x 10hrs/day shift)**
- This employment opportunity is in our _**Whistler location**_. We are seeking applicants who are living in lower-mainland area and are comfortable with the commute from Vancouver to Whistler location starting every Sunday morning and coming back to Vancouver Wednesday evening. Transportation and accommodation will be provided for 3 nights to stay in Whistler by the employer._

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR...**
- Physically fit and able to lift up-to 40 lbs repeatedly.
- Comfortable using android tablets
- Comfortable operating various equipment
- Able to work as part of a team and independently when needed
- A problem solver and someone who shows initiative.
- High commitment to personal safety and the safety of the others
- Previous work experience in a warehouse is a bonus, but not required.

**WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO**

Reporting directly to managers, SORTERS will work in a team to perform tasks such as:

- Greeting customers, taking in and sorting products for recycling, issuing payments.
- Ensuring products are unloaded from transport trucks in an efficient manner.
- Sorting through, counting and tracking empty beverage containers
- As skills develop further training for additional tasks will be provided
- Other tasks as assigned by the managers or supervisors.

**SCHEDULE**
- Sun-Wed x 10hrs/day shift

**COMPENSATION**
- Benefits will kick in after passing 6-months of probation period (Full-time employees only)

**Salary**: $21.00-$22.50 per hour
