Patient Transfer Attendant

Air Bravo is looking for a customer-facing individual who loves helping people. The Patient Transfer Assistant (Medical Transfer Assistant) will play a key role in the operations at Air Bravo. This role entails transferring patients to and from Sudbury Airport and Sudbury Health Sciences North or other destinations as
directed by Ornge. While taking care of each passenger with outstanding, attentive service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive the transfer truck
- Help load a patient in a wheelchair or stretcher into the vehicle
- Communicate with patients in a friendly, helpful manner
- Practice safe, defensive driving
- Complete daily vehicle inspections
- Re-stock medical equipment
- Ensure all routine and post-call cleaning and
disinfecting is completed as required.
Skills & Requirements:
- Grade 12 OSSD or equivalent diploma
- Valid 'G' Ontario Driver's License
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Clean police record Vulnerable Sector
- Experience working in patient transport is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment
- Must possess solid organizational skills, be a self-starter, able to work with limited supervision and be capable of handling multiple assignments concurrently
- Possess good hygiene and cleanliness
- Current immunization records
- Willingness to learn and improve
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
