ONE CARE Home & Community Support Services is a community based, charitable, Not-For-Profit health organization providing supportive care to families in Huron and Perth Counties as well as the surrounding area.

**We are currently seeking a permanent full-time Community Support Services Supervisor - Intake and Privacy Officer.**

**LOCATION**:
Hybrid Remote, with some travel to the office.

**HOURS OF WORK**:
Full time Monday -Friday.

Reporting to the Director, Client Services, the Community Support Services Supervisor is responsible for the operational supervision of multiple designated community support programs of ONE CARE Home and Community Support Services including Central Intake and Care Planning. The CSS Supervisor is responsible for assigned staff, assisting in hiring staff and supervising assigned staff and is responsible for program volunteers directed by staff.

For Privacy the CSS Supervisor oversees the development, maintenance and ongoing enforcement of the Agency privacy program to ensure compliance with legislative requirements related to the protection and privacy of personal health information (PHI) and personal information (PI ); including knowledge of privacy laws, policies, and procedures regarding privacy and security of protected health information including PHIPA. Supervisors represent the organization at various external committees and meetings related to their program responsibilities.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A Degree in Human Services/Social Sciences/Health Sciences from a recognized educational institution is preferred. Certain positions may require specialized certification or degree.
- Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), is preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years related experience.
- Expertise relating to the aging population and provision of community based services, knowledge of issues in gerontology and resulting health issues; social work principles, therapeutic skills, assessment skills; human development and behaviors will be considered an asset.
- Strong Leadership skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work with a variety of people, taking into consideration varying needs.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
