ONE CARE Home & Community Support Services is a community based, charitable, Not-For-Profit health organization providing supportive care to families in Huron and Perth Counties as well as the surrounding area.

**We are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker Supervisor.**

**SUMMARY**:
Reporting to the Manager, Programs/Services the Social Work Supervisor will support the delivery of instrumental Social Work Services to improve the quality of life for ONE CARE clients and their caregivers. The Social Work Supervisor provides oversight of clinical advice, consultation and counselling support and may assume front line responsibilities as needed. The Social Work Supervisor is actively involved in advocacy, education, and program planning working collaboratively on a multi-disciplinary team. There is a strong emphasis on liaising with appropriate resources in the community to ensure clients and families are linked with the necessary supports.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Master’s Degree in Social Work from a recognized educational institution is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ clinical social work experience.
- Strong supervisory experience to provide guidance and oversight of the program
- Current registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
- Demonstrated skill in psychosocial assessment with the ability to identify client needs, problem solve and implement timely and appropriate social work interventions.
- Knowledge of community resources and community health care within Huron and Perth Counties.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work with a variety of people, taking into consideration varying needs.
- Familiarity with client support software and databases is also considered an asset.
- Must travel between Huron and Perth Counties.
- Ability to speak French would be considered an asset.
