Vaughan, Canada Thorncrest Electric Inc. Full time

Thorncrest Electric Inc. is currently recruiting a Electrical Estimator to join our vastly growing team of professionals. The Estimator is primarily responsible for supporting the Projects team with project estimating. The Estimator will further be responsible for reviewing, and preparing electrical quotes, as well as communicating with vendors in sourcing system quotes.

**Required Qualifications / Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities**
- Knowledge of software programs, such as TRIMBLE ACCUBID, Bluebeam, and CAD.
- Formal training in TRIMBLE ACCUBID is an asset
- Must be able to quote changes as it pertains to the High-Rise electrical sector
- Post Secondary Education
- Understanding of the Electrical Industry
- Good knowledge and understanding of Electrical, Mechanical, and Architectural drawings
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
- Ability to present technical data in clear simple terms
- Ability to plan / meet deadlines
- Strong understanding and commitment to the requirements of confidentiality
- Good organizational skills, attention to details, and the ability to multi-task.
- Able to work independently and on a team
- A team player with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Valid G Drivers License in good standing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
