**Job description**

**Cabinet Assembler**

**Cabinet Assembler Duties**
- Read and interpret blueprints and other drawings to determine the type and dimensions of parts to be constructed
- Assemble and install prefabricated parts, such as doors, shelves, and trim
- Install hardware, such as hinges, handles, drawers, locks, and other accessories
- Measure, mark, and cut parts according to specifications
- Fill, sand, and finish assembled units
- Inspect units for defects and ensure that they meet standards
- Maintain tools and equipment in clean and good working condition

**Cabinet Assembler Skills**
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment
- Knowledge of cabinet assembly techniques
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and organizational skills

**Personal Traits**
- Good manual dexterity
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and instructions
