Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate/Marketing Guru to join our team in downtown Kingston. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales. But this unique role will also include working on marketing and advertising You'll be responsible for creating monthly newsletters through Mailchimp, regular social media posts, and creating ads through Canva. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently, have great attention to detail, and who is totally obsessed with jewellery, accessories and decor

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and assist them in finding the products they need
- Educate customers on product knowledge, features and benefits
- Assist customers with inquiries, concerns, and exchanges
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Meet or exceed sales goals regularly
- Merchandising as required
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
- Create monthly newsletters
- Stay up to date on local events and capitalize on sales opportunities
- Create regular social media content
- Create paid social media ads and analyze data for future posts
- Use Canva to create any in-house or outside marketing campaigns
- Ensure all marketing and advertising uses branded content

**Skills**:

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Proven ability to sell products and meet sales targets both on sales floor and online
- Excellent organizational and merchandising skills to maintain an orderly sales floor
- Cash handling experience is preferred
- Photography
- Marketing and advertising
- Social media marketing
- Ability to use Meta, Canva, Shopify and Apple products

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
