**Location**:Various Schools **Hours of Work**:Monday to Friday (exact hours to be
determined, equivalent to 7 hours per day)

**Wage or Salary**:$22.52 to $26.62 per hour
**Probation Period**:120 working days (internal staff
- **Start Date**:August 19, 2025 60-day trial period)

Provides administrative support to the Head Administrative Assistant and/or administrators/management;
and contributes to the efficient operation of the office. Performs other related duties as assigned or as
required. This position will rotate through various schools on a 6 day-cycle.

However, should there be an unfilled vacancy or any approved organizational demand elsewhere, this
person may be reassigned to provide administrative assistance in any Division location. In accordance with
the Collective Agreement, should this requirement be in a higher-rated position and this person remain in that
capacity in excess of three consecutive working days, she/he will be paid at the rate of pay for the position in
which she/he is temporarily relieving. The days prior to the start of the school year will be assigned in
various locations. As well, this person will be required to attend all training arranged for Head Administrative
Assistants.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- High school diploma plus related administrative course work.
- 1 - 2 years related experience.
- Excellent computer and keyboarding skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels of staff, students and the
- public and to handle confidential information.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable to the Division.
