What you’ll do
- Maintain enterprise Microsoft platforms (Windows Server, Azure) and services such as Active Directory, Hyper - V, DNS,. DHCP, Remote Desktop Services
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of cloud resources and services, ensuring system reliability and availability.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation on cloud configurations, issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent support and operational efficiency.
- Provide comprehensive technical support for cloud-based infrastructure and services and have expertise for complex, escalated technical support issues; identifies, troubleshoots and solves problems for end-users
- Assist with the monitoring of cloud security settings, including user access, roles, and permissions, and collaborate with security teams to address potential vulnerabilities.

What you’ve got
- Post-secondary education in a related field and 3 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience
- Intermediate understanding of Affinity Credit Union’s business objectives and divisional business operations
- Familiarity with cloud-based monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor or similar services to detect, log, and resolve issues. Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified: AZ-900, AZ-104, MS-900, SC-900 would be an asset.
- Strong knowledge of scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell/Azure CLI to automate troubleshooting tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ability to conduct leading practice research to discover, analyze, and recommend innovative processes
- Ability to lead a project through the project life cycle, liaising effectively with key stakeholders
