Green Acres Foundation is seeking a Caretaker/Maintenance Person who is a dynamic multi-tasker with a positive attitude, a flexible schedule, and wants to work in a team environment. We are a self-motivated bunch who finds coming to work fun, so strong interpersonal and organizational skills are a MUST. As part of the Building Caretaker/Maintenance personnel at Green Acres Foundation you would be responsible for the following: - Performing general maintenance, caretaking, grounds keeping, and exterior site duties. - Conducting regular inspections of the buildings, grounds, utility systems, and machinery. - Completing administrative paperwork as it relates to the position. - Assisting with cleaning and janitorial duties. - Attending to maintenance emergencies as they occur. **_ Requirements:_** - Minimum 3 years' experience in the maintenance/caretaking field. - Physical ability to work in multi-story building and physical stamina to lift and carry up to 25 kg. - Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check - Valid Class 5 driver's license. - Current satisfactory driver's abstract and claims experience letter. - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English. - A flexible, willing, and positive attitude. 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate or Building Operator "B" Certificate is considered an asset.
