We are currently putting together a team of highly skilled bakers for our ever-growing brand that is Daan Go. We are looking to hire an individual with a strong baking background and a love for food and creativity to fill our Macaron Production Manager position at our Scarborough location (3380 Midland Ave, unit 11)

**Job Summary**

As a **Macaron Production Manager**, you’ll lead our macaron production team, ensuring every shell is perfectly crisp, every filling is just right, and every batch is Instagram-ready. You’ll manage everything from daily production to quality control, team training, and flavour innovation, helping us deliver the high-quality desserts our customers love.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- **Pastry Production Expertise**: Strong background in baking and pastry, with a focus on macarons or similar confections
- **Quality Control**: Sharp eye for detail — you know how to spot a hollow shell or an off-colour batch
- **Leadership**: Experience managing a kitchen team, including training, mentoring, and motivating staff
- **Organizational Skills**: Able to juggle multiple tasks, keep inventory in check, and meet tight deadlines
- **Creativity & Innovation**: Passion for experimenting with flavours and developing new macaron varieties
- **Problem-Solving**: Quick to adjust when a batch doesn’t go as planned
- **Food Safety Knowledge**: Familiar with kitchen hygiene standards, food handling, and safe storage practices
- **Physical Stamina**: Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 20kg when needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
