**About the role**
- Ability to work with others to make suggestions and improve procedures
- Must follow manufacturer's instructions for repairing aircraft engine components involving dimensional constraints using conventional tooling machines, as well as CNCs
- Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand output specifications
- Take measurements using a variety of instruments
- Monitor the machine while working to adjust power, maintain temperature and identify problems
- Check output for consistency with specifications and eliminate defects
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- May be required to transport parts, components or modules from one workstation or centre to another
- May be required to clean/inspect/repair parts
- May be required to work in another category.

**What you bring to the role**
- Diploma in machining or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English
- Be autonomous, able to work without supervision
- Be meticulous and organized.

**Additional skills desired for the role**
- Experience in the aeronautical field an asset.
