Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their dining experience starts off on a positive note. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication and customer service skills to work in a fast-paced and dynamic restaurant environment.

**Duties**:

- Greet guests as they arrive and seat them at their designated tables
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials
- Assist with taking reservations and managing the waitlist
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with guest services, such as coat check or escorting guests to restrooms

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Familiarity with food service or hospitality industry is a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 per week
