Speech-language Pathologist

Stepping Stones Consultants is seeking individuals interested in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other disorders (ADHD/ADD, ODD, GAD, etc.) in the role of Speech-Language Pathologist (S-LP).
- Initiate parent intake meetings
- Conduct assessments
- Create speech and language plans and programs
- Attend meetings and professional development workshops
- Work with team members, including overlapping speech assistants, and collaborating with other service providers and professionals
Positions are mainly virtual with the exception of off-site observations (e.g. school, camp, etc.) and, if preferred, assessments. Our clients range from 3-18 years of age and live all over the Lower Mainland and the Greater Vancouver Area (Abbotsford to Richmond and every city in between). Pay scale is based on experience with raises occurring every 6 months.
Qualifications:
- Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Energetic, punctual, patient, and interested in supporting growth in children
- Have strong communication and play skills
- Able to commit to the position for at least 6 months
- Having your own vehicle is an asset
Please note, due to COVID regulations and the nature of this work, service providers will not be able to wear masks unless they are see-through so their mouths and facial expressions are visible.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 5-20 per week
**Salary**: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
