We are seeking an experienced individual to be an integral part of our team as Sales Forecasting and Reporting Analyst (NOC:41402) in our Mississauga office location. If you have proven experience in data analysis and Power BI analytics, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform complex analyses and conduct economic surveys on a regular basis to produce reports on various funds and fund-related activity. The frequency of reporting and analysis will be on a regular basis as required.
- Providing suggestions for budget rearrangement and relocation of funds.
- Develop policies and standards for expense management programs to ensure quality, integrity and delivery of reporting produced.
- Developing market research questionnaires.
- Working with the customer service and dynamic sales team and back-office support function.
- Contributing towards the sales process that aligns to the corporate goals. Investigates methods of increasing productivity, accuracy, and efficiencies within the business unit from sales reports.
- Prepare reports to assess business opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales using various software tools like Power BI and SQL.
- Develop and administer software tools to identify the need for adding controls to external departments business processes.
- Coordinate activities with industrial and commercial enterprises.
- Preparing for and leading informational meetings for staff to explain sales trends and new marketing strategies.
- Performing market research into industry trends related to the company’s business to attract new business.
- Investigate and perform complex calculations (including manual) pertaining to tiered fees, scaled fees, rebates, personal rates of return and blended discount calculations whenever required.
- Making daily inventory report and evaluating industrial development proposals.
- Conducting surveys and analyzing data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale or retain consumers.
- Advising on marketing campaigns to identify improvements.
- Developing economic profiles to encourage industrial and commercial investment and development.
- Suggesting adjustments and revisions to current sales techniques and promotional strategies to improve sales.
- Conduct research on consumers, competitors, and the marketplace to identify trends to optimize marketing strategies.

**Qualification and Skills**
- At least 2-3 years of related experience as a sales analyst/ reporting analyst or similar field.
- A diploma, certification or a degree in economics, commerce, or business administration is required.
- Experience in project governance reporting/project management preferred.
- Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Practical knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process, and information flow.
- Has sufficient experience to be able to provide meaningful insights into developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI with the aptitude to learn new software quickly.
- Dynamic engagement skills, ability to clearly articulate information, excellent communications ability
- Analytical ability and spreadsheet usage: synthesize large amounts of data and provide meaningful insights, use analysis to drive change.
- Creative, out of the box, dynamic and forward-thinking individual with a demonstrated drive and passion
- Ability to work independently and with the team as well.
- Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities.
