Common hours are Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:30pm.

**Position Overview**:
The main responsibility is to ensure that delivery trucks are manually loaded completely and accurately the day before delivery. The role is manual handling of materials, with some lifting devices as required.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Checks orders for accuracy.
- Organizes and secures load.
- Assists in maintaining good housekeeping in yard and warehouse.
- Ensure complete and accurate loading of meet customer’s satisfaction.
- Customer service
- Completes necessary paperwork
- Follows guidelines from supervisor.
- Assists supervisor, other employees and other work areas, as may be needed.
- Forklift license would be an asset.

**Education**:
High School Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).

**Experience**:
One year of general labour experience preferred.

**Required License and Certification**:

- Must have a valid G License

**Skills, Knowledge and Abilities**:

- Strong organizational skills.
- Able to read a tape measure as well as paper and electronic information and documents.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to do basic math, read orders, write instructions and complete forms.
- Quick learner.
- Ability to work under strict time frames.
- Communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills.
- Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques.

**Physical Demands**:

- Strength (lift, carry, push and pull) up to 50 lbs. Over 50 lbs with assistance. Frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, with manual dexterity and see acute depth perception and field of vision.
- Trunk rotation with 20 lbs. at arm’s length 180 degrees from side to side.
- Bend, stoop or squat to floor level on a repetitive basis.
- Reach over head to grasp materials.

**Environment and Physical Working Conditions**:

- Work outside in temperatures ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold.
- Hands on work environment.
