**Position Overview**:
The main responsibilities include stocking the warehouse and assisting in completing customer orders.

Stock is retrieved from the warehouse by work order to prepare for delivery.

Common hours are 6:00 am - 3:00 pm, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Currently closed Saturdays. Occasional overtime, good work life balance.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Stocking and retrieving warehouse products - doors, trim, door jams, hinges, etc.
- Loading trucks.
- Assist in deliveries.
- Customer service.
- Checks orders for accuracy.
- Completes necessary paperwork.
- Assists in maintaining good housekeeping in yard and warehouse.
- Follows guidelines from supervisor.
- Assists supervisor, other employees and other work areas, as may be needed.
- Forklift license or experience is an asset.

**Education**:
High School Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) preferred.

**Experience**:
One year warehouse experience, preferably construction or industrial supply.

**Required License and Certification**:

- Valid G License preferred with a clean Ontario Driver Abstract.

**Skills, Knowledge and Abilitie**s:

- Able to read a tape measure.
- Good organizational skills.
- Able to work as part of a team and getting along with others.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to do basic math, read orders, write instructions and complete forms.
- Quick learner.
- Communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills.
- Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques.

**Physical Demands**:

- Strength (lift, carry, push and pull): Maximum lift, 100 lbs.; Frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, with manual dexterity and see acute depth perception and field of vision.
- Trunk rotation with 20 lbs. at arm’s length 180 degrees from side to side.
- Bend, stoop or squat to floor level on a repetitive basis.
- Reach over head to grasp materials.

**Environment and Physical Working Conditions**:

- Work outside in temperatures ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold.
- Hands on work environment.
