We are looking for a Junior Accounting Technician to join our accounting services department. We need an organized and detailed-oriented individual to join our dynamic team.

**Position Profile**:
As a **Junior** **Accounting Technician** you would be responsible for:
- General bookkeeping from transactional recordings through to the preparation of internal financial statements, (operating companies and investment entities)
- Processing of payments
- General correspondence and filing
- Administrative and organizational duties
- Preparation of personal tax returns
- Preparation of Bank reconciliations A/R and A/P
- Calculation, reporting and filing of GST/QST reports, payroll and DAS and issues related thereto
- Complete month end closings
- Ability to travel to clients on a regular basis.
**Requirements**:
- College diploma in related field
- 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Prior experience working with accounting software (QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Sage 50, Writeup, Acc Pac and others)
- Experience with multi-currency and multi-company accounting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French and English)
- Proven organizational skills
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
