The main purpose of this position is to pack orders and to prepare boxes for shipments and assist in organizing the warehouse.

**The opportunity**:
Pick/Pack Orders
- Verify the products against sale orders before packing
- Pick/Pack all regular, wholesalers’ orders and BC transfers
- Pick/Pack the dangerous goods and refrigerate products

Ship Packages
- Enter invoice information into UPS/Fedex software
- Inspect package, make sure all information is correct
- Follow proper shipping procedure for Hazardous Materials

Invoice Orders
- Change status and tracking number of shipped packages in Syspro

Miscellaneous Tasks
- Clean the shelves and bottles
- Assist in the organization of warehouse; place chemicals, devices, materials, etc.
- Perform physical inventory for shipping packaging materials

Skills, knowledge and abilities:

- One (1) to four (4) years experience in shipping (Pharmaceutical industry an asset)
- High School Diploma required
- Forklift certified is considered an asset
- Knowledge of packing/handling dangerous goods is considered an asset
- Knowledge using hand held scanners an asset
- Attention to detail is a must
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- A positive attitude with the ability to work in a team
- Excellent communication skills; English and French (oral & written) required. This position interfaces with sales representatives and facilities in the United States and Australia.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required; Syspro is an asset
