East Toronto Foot Care was founded in 2017 and has quickly become a trusted source of foot care for the residents of Riverside, Leslieville, and Corktown. Located on Queen Street East close to Queen and Broadview, this area is rapidly growing but retains a small town charm.

Our neighbours are friendly and the medical clinics close by are wonderfully supportive and an excellent referral network for building a stable patient base. Both the 501 and 504 streetcars pass directly in front of the clinic and Broadview station is only a 10 minute streetcar ride away, making the clinic easily accessible by transit. The area is highly walkable and surrounded by great restaurants, lovely cafes, and unique businesses with a serene park just a 2 minute walk from the clinic.

Working out of East Toronto Foot Care, you will enjoy the ability to work with a great amount of autonomy. Our clinic is equipped with 3D volumetric scanning for orthotics, shockwave therapy, Swift microwave technology, ToeFx fungal nail treatment, and a variety of retail items (including Bauerfeind compression and braces and SuperFeet insoles) to help support your practice.

East Toronto Foot Care is a full service chiropody clinic that aims to work with our patients to reach a shared health goal. Our guiding principle is providing care with honesty, integrity, empathy, and attention to detail.

**The Position**:
We are looking for a certified chiropodist to join our team:

- Hours: flexible, ideally 3-5 days per week, including 2 Saturdays per month
- Fully stocked treatment room
- Front desk and administrative support
- Competitive compensation package including bonus

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of clinical experience in a private clinic preferred, new grads welcome to apply
- Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
- Must hold up-to-date liability insurance
- Up-to-date CPR certification
- Detail oriented and precise
- High level of clinical skills
- Able to practice the full scope of chiropody
- Excellent analytic skills to correctly assess patient concerns
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest evidence-based approaches to foot care
- Passionate about health care and helping patients
- Motivated individual who is committed to working to build up their practice
- Caring, gentle, and professional attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and with a team
- Reliable and proven track record of excellent professional attendance
- Knowledge of shockwave, Swift, ToeFx, bracing, and compression therapy an asset

**Duties**:

- Assess and manage foot and lower limb complaints
- Work with your patients to create an effective management plan
- Responsibly and proficiently use therapeutic and surgical techniques to manage lower extremity issues
- Provide foot health education for patients
- Perform thorough biomechanical and gait analyses
- Prescribe and fit custom foot orthotics
- Fit and dispense compression stockings and braces
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare providers to provide the best care possible to patients
- Maintain patient charts and records for all interactions
- Ensure cleanliness of treatment room and equipment
- Keep up-to-date and informed with the latest advancements in podiatric care
- Ensure high patient retention rate through detailed management plans and thoughtful care
