**We are currently hiring General Managers to support various JRG restaurant locations**

**Responsibilities of the General Manager include**:

- Coordinate daily Front of the House operations
- Maintain revenue, profitability and quality goals
- Ensure efficient restaurant operation
- Maintaining high level people, product, service and environment
- Hold all employees accountable for service standards, performance and appearance
- Develop and maintain relationships to ensure guests remain loyal and return
- Adhere to company standards and service levels
- Control operational costs and identify areas of opportunity to improve profitability
- Implement policies, systems and routines that will maintain restaurant operations
- Ensure financial and payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure each shift is staffed appropriately to meet budget and understand the scheduling process based on budget and sales forecast
- Auditing staff performance and providing feedback
- On-boarding, training and development of the service and leadership teams
- Maintain favourable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment which will be conducive to maximize employee morale and productivity
- Creating detailed reports on weekly revenue and expenses
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events

**Working Conditions**:

- Hours and shifts may vary.
- Must be available evenings, weekends and holidays.

**Requirements**:

- Exceptional understanding of The Joseph Richard Group mission statement, philosophy and service standards
- Completed Food & Beverage testing
- Experience overseeing a dining operation, building relationships with guests and balancing seating capacity
- Strong leadership, communication, motivational and people skills
- Strong financial management skills

**Assets**:

- An ability to lead and take initiative
- Proven work experience as a manager in the hospitality industry
- Proven customer service experience as a manager

Pay: From $56,000.00 per year
