This role requires Canadian Enhanced Reliability Security clearance [a minimum of 5 years of consecutive residency in Canada].

**About the role**:
The **IAM Security** Specialist** will be accountable for the delivery and implementation of security technology that supports the Global Identity and Access Management Domain for the Company. S/he will participate in the execution and implementation of the Sun Life IAM program. Reporting directly to the Manager of Technology Support, the incumbent will work with the IAM Operation team to help move technology and processes through the Application Life Cycle. This will be in the form of projects, consulting, continuous improvement activities including upgrades and as Subject Matter Expert in the IAM Technology field. Your goal is to provide stellar service, have a continuous improvement mindset to help drive operational efficiencies and secure our environment under the IAM Domain.

**What will you do?**
- Understand Logical Access Security Standard (LASD) and policy around Data Privacy for the Company is a must
- Provide support and operations of the IAM tools
- Access, engineer and implement upgrades, improvements and changes to IAM tools
- Be responsible for project deliverables, prioritizing actions, overcome obstacles that arise through the implementation of projects, and assist team members in resolving issues
- Be responsive to queries from internal clients, and provide solutions as required
- Be resourceful and able to work with other technical support teams with strong collaboration and synergy to enhance and improve the IAM tools
- Collaborate with Security Access Administration and Governance teams to ensure the service delivered satisfy end user’s requirement at the same time follow the Governance best practices
**What you need to succeed: Qualifications**:

- University degree/college diploma in Technology
- 5+ years in security IT industry experience
- Professional designation in IT security (such as CISSP, CISA, CISM) preferred
- Experience in supporting IAM tools: SailPoint IdentityIQ, File Access Management, Transmit Security, OKTA,, Venafi Certificate Management, CyberArk Vault & PAM will be well considered
- **Preferred skills**:

- This position requires a strong technical aptitude with the ability to drive solutions to a positive conclusion
- Able to work independently with high degree of ambiguity and deliver expected outcomes, be focused on the end deliverables and build trust with internal clients and peers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Work experience in Financial Industry preferred
