**KEY ACOUNTABILITIES**:

- Responsible for the placing and receiving of all BC wine orders brought into the store.
- Ensure that all wine delivered to the store is checked off accurately and matches the accompanying invoices.
- Makes all buying decisions based on trends, movement, customer requests to ensure that they are not based on biased decisions.
- Make adjustments accordingly to inventory levels to ensure that shelves are stocked adequately, and overstock is kept to a minimum using all the data available to you.
- Manage seasonal and weekly thematic, including CFG’s, Wine of the Week, and any corporate marketing directives that are related to BC Wines.
- Ensure that all BC monthly price changes are completed when uploaded by head office.
- Submit all DOC 60s to head office on a weekly basis.
- Coordinate replacement or payment for all BC defectives prior to Month End
- Ensure that all BC wines in the store have the correct price tags and that all tags are kept in a neat and tidy manner.
- Maintain a constant presence on the sales floor when not receiving or placing orders.
- Responsible for maintaining and accurate inventory by completing a monthly cycle count of the entire section.
- Represent Everything Wine in a professional manner at all industry related events.
- Create new relationships with wineries and their representatives while maintaining and building upon existing ones.
- Train all staff on a weekly basis by conducting a tasting of 1-2 wines being offered in BC
- Be a leader and set the example with regards to all aspects of customer service

**EXPERIENCE/SKILLS**

An Everything Wine BC Buyer possesses a strong work ethic, and a passion for wine, people, and service excellence. They have a flair for visual presentation and take pride in their work, take initiative, and have demonstrated proficiency in the following skillsets:

**Salary**: $17.50-$18.70 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
