We are looking for a motivated **Steel Fabricator Apprentice** to join our team at our shop in Delta, BC.

**Shift Schedule**:
Monday - Thursday

3:30 PM - 1:30 AM

**Requirements**:

- 1 years’ experience in structural steel fabrication
- Have own basic tools and equipment
- Able to read drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- Enrolled or willing to enroll with ITA Skilled Trades in a Fabricator apprenticeship

**Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and weld metal components
- Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documents to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark dimensions using calipers, rulers, and other measuring instruments
- Use basic math skills to calculate measurements, angles, and dimensions
- Lift and move heavy materials using cranes, forklifts, or other equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools

Work Location: In person

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
