**Summary**

**Objectives**

  • Provide input to ensure that teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals
  • Ensure that staffing needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants
  • Under the direction of the payroll department, support the department by contributing to meeting deadlines compliance

**Responsibilities**

  • Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
  • Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
  • Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders
  • Maintain and update payroll records including but not limited to: transfers, leave of absences, identifying and reconciling discrepancies, benefits eligibility
  • Reconcile payroll and benefits accounts and prepare remittances
  • Complete weekly, and monthly reporting as requested by Senior Leadership Team and other management team members
  • Respond to employee and management inquiries by researching and resolving payroll related issues with a focus on excellent and professional customer service

**Required skills and qualifications**

  • Two or three years of experience in a talent acquisition or payroll department
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Knowledge of payroll and benefits regulations, legislation
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

**Preferred skills and qualifications**

  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems
  • Professional credential, such as HR Certification and or Payroll Certification
