Operations include two manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Customer Solution Centres located in Langley, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.

We are currently recruiting for a **_Shipping & Receiving Coordinator _**for our **Glass Warehouse location**. This individual is responsible for providing shipping, coordination of trips and scheduling drivers, and customer follow-up for inbound material and finished products.

**In this position, you will be responsible for...**
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure proper outbound shipping processes are followed
- Ensuring all physical material, paperwork and systems are in place when shipping material or finished product.
- Coordinating and managing packaging and shipping of material and finished product
- Tracking shipments, including updating shipment tracking system(s) and ensure the accuracy of the data being input.
- Managing and updating the On-Time Tracker (OTC)
- Posting the daily shipping schedule
- Auditing and reviewing shipping documentation to ensure it is complete and accurate relative to the physical load on trucks.
- Performing quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for outgoing items prior to signing off.
- Reporting discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
- Maintaining organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations
- Calling customers to confirm delivery or pick-up times, and/or provide related information.
- Booking delivery or pick-up with customers.
- Coordinating shipping and customer pick-up requirements with manufacturing.
- Planning and scheduling driver schedules based on customer requirements and the production schedule.
- Prioritizing loads and schedules by customer and internal driver availability.
- Organizing 3rd party transportation services for customer delivery.
- Prioritizing time sensitive shipments or loads.
- Coordinating and managing the most efficient loads to remain cost-effective.
- Scheduling and printing delivery schedule for driver.
- Dispatching drivers for shipment pick-ups and deliveries.
- Confirming and entering material receipts into Fenevision and Quickbooks.
- Working with supplier, finance, and other internal stakeholders to resolve receiving issues.
- Answering inquires of customers, whether over the phone or in person.
- Preparing packages for courier and/or mail shipping, entering shipment requests online as needed.
- Providing as required back-up to the Supply Chain Material Coordinator position, including, but not limited to, working collaboratively with the team to ensure proper receiving and material requisitioning processes are followed.
- Other duties as required.

**Primary Qualifications Required**:

- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Warehousing, shipping, and receiving experience is required.
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
- Visual-spatial awareness is required.
- English communication skills, including the ability to read and write clearly, and to communicate information in a straightforward manner required.
