Here's how a Systems Administrator for our Edmonton NAHQ office contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**:

- Promote the adoption of technology solutions at district jobsites including deployment, ongoing support, and training.
- Passional about being engaged in adoption of new processes and emerging technologies that enhance efficiencies.
- Actively seeks out issues, problems, and opportunities, and creates solutions.
- Work with operational project teams to identify innovations, challenges, issues and solutions.
- Assists other team members with technical issues.
- Build working relationships with project and district teams.
- Jobsite set up and maintenance for various technologies and infrastructure, including remote support.
- Creates and delivers technical training and other knowledge resources.
- Resolve user-reported problems through timely logging of issues, resolution to problems following the company's procedures and policies.
- Administers and monitors district office construction site server resources and technology solutions to ensure optimal operation and respond to issues.
- Provides implementation support on corporate and regional initiatives.
- Assists other team members with technical issues.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in computer technology or a related discipline.
- 5 years of progressive experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of O365 product
- Basic understanding of networking standards.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
- Intermediate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work and delegate simple tasks.
- Results-oriented and able to drive deadlines.
- Knowledge of change management methodologies an asset.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Able to travel to projects within and outside of city limits.
- Capable of lifting various computing equipment weighing up to 23 kilograms.
