We are looking for seasoned data scientists with a strong mathematical foundation, experience building AI-based solutions on real world data, and a pioneering mindset to join the team and help deliver new AI innovation into our platform.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with domain experts, perform data studies and analysis on billions of records from our one-of-a-kind dataset to identify meaningful business opportunities
- Build production quality prototypes and collaborate with engineering resources to implement the solution in a scalable cloud framework like Google’s Vertex AI
- Communicate findings to stakeholders and a broader audience of technical and non-technical persons.
- Thrive in different working environments. Both in independent, self-driven, research and development, and in collaborative, team-driven, projects.
- Lead new initiatives that will bring business value to UKG and mentor others

Qualifications:
Education and experience in a quantitative field. PhD plus 3 years of experience, or master’s degree plus 5 years of experience.

Substantial depth in at least 1-2 machine learning or AI subfields, including but not limited to generative AI, regression, classification, deep learning, time-series analysis, clustering, NLP, transfer learning, GenAI, etc.

Practical ability to visualize data, communicate meaningful business insights, and utilize them effectively.

Programming experience and the ability to rapidly develop prototypes of new solutions

Experience with big data tools and frameworks, such as Cloud ML, Big Query, etc.

SQL, or experience with another database technology.

Python, or experience with another scripting language. Experience with programming packages like Pandas is desired.
