We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join our growing team of talented Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists. We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong mathematical background who will help us take our Analytics offering to the next level employing state of the art machine learning and AI models. Someone with a “can do” attitude who is not afraid to fail, with a proven track record of solutions on real world data and an innovative mindset.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with product managers and domain experts to perform data studies and analysis on HCM and WFM datasets to identify meaningful business opportunities
- Build production quality prototypes and collaborate with engineering resources to implement the solution in a scalable cloud framework like Google’s Vertex AI
- Communicate findings to stakeholders and a broader audience of technical and non-technical persons.
- Thrive in different working environments. Both in independent, self-driven, research and development, and in collaborative, team-driven, projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Education and experience in a quantitative field. PhD, or master’s degree, plus 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Substantial depth in at least 1-2 machine learning or AI subfields, including but not limited to regression, classification, deep learning, time-series analysis, clustering, NLP, transfer learning, etc.
- SQL, or experience with another database technology.
- Python, or experience with another scripting language such as Scala. Experience with programming packages like Pandas is desired.
- Willingness to learn new tools as they become needed.
- Practical ability to visualize data, communicate meaningful business insights, and utilize them effectively.
- Programming experience and the ability to rapidly develop prototypes of new solutions
- Experience with big data tools and frameworks, such as Cloud ML, Big Query a plus
