**Opening Statement**
The R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home is a Long-Term Care Home to 137 Residents and employs 250 staff in various Departments.
Under the direction and supervision of the RN Charge Nurse &/or LPN, the Continuing Care Assistant (CCA), provides resident -focused, holistic care, within an interdisciplinary team consistent with the Mission, Vision, Values and philosophy of care of the RK Mac Donald Nursing Home

**Qualifications**:Provincial certification in Continuing Care Assistant (CCA). Provincial CCA certification required for permanent employment. Registered member of the CCA Registry (Continuing Care Assistant Program - HANS). Certification in CPR, WHMIS, Food Handlers, Dementia/Alzheimer, Palliative care courses and gentle persuasion approach.
**Rotation**:12 hr. rotations Days, Nights and Weekends (ie. DDNN, LW/SW/, SW/LW)
**Salary **$22.2259-24.0966 (experience as per Unifor contract pay scale) **_Paid Breaks 80 hrs. bi-weekly_**
